The Band
Incendiary Devices is a high-energy rock band formed in 2020, known for delivering a visual and auditory experience that goes far beyond the typical cover band show. The current line up formed in early 2025 and is fronted by powerhouse vocalist Phil Westee, the band features founding members Walter Biel on guitar and Mike Field on drums, alongside Stu Yates on bass and Christian Flesher on keyboards. Blending crowd-favorite rock covers with compelling original music, Incendiary Devices brings intensity, polish, and spectacle to every performance—turning each show into a full-scale rock event.
Phil Westee
Phil Westee is a rock and roll lawyer and lead vocalist. He is the newest member of ID. Phil hails from upstate New York and had been screaming for vengeance since the late 70's with multiple bands including covers and original music. Phil loves to interact with the crowd and looks forward to meeting each and every one of ID's followers.
Mike Field
Mike Field is the rhythmic powerhouse and co-founder of the rock band Incendiary Devices, which burst onto the scene in 2020. A phenomenal drummer from a very young age, Mike's drumming style is a blend of techniques, seamlessly providing the backbone for the band's captivating mix of both original and cover rock material. His undeniable skill and passion are evident in every beat, contributing significantly to Incendiary Devices' impactful and unforgettable sound.
Walter L. Biel
Walter Biel is the guitarist and co-founder of Incendiary Devices. A Long Island native, Walter began his journey with the guitar on his 13th birthday and, at 24, earned a Bachelor's degree in music performance. His vast performing experience, talent for music composition, and passion provide musical direction and vision for the band. Walter is currently writing music for Incendiary Devices’ first releases.
Stu Yates
Stu Yates—better known on stage as Mr. Stu—has been holding down the low end since the age of 14. A veteran bassist with a history of writing, singing, and recording multiple original albums, Stu has played both guitar and bass across several original projects before joining Incendiary Devices in February 2024. Now, as the band tears into heavy covers and forges new originals, Mr. Stu’s experience and driving bass lines form the backbone of their hard-hitting sound.
Christian Flesher

Christian Flesher is a rock keyboardist and multi-instrumentalist whose musical journey began with the bassoon, laying a foundation of classical discipline that now fuels his dynamic performances across genres. Armed with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Christian blends technical precision with raw creative energy, delivering powerful keyboard solos and rich sonic textures that elevate every ensemble he joins. His versatility as a performer and educator makes him a standout figure in the music world—equally at home on stage, in the studio, or in the classroom, inspiring the next generation of musicians with his passion and skill.
